Rrëshen names one of the main streets “Musine Kokalari”

The Municipality of Mirditë commemorated the 100^th birthday anniversary of Musine Kokalari. On 9 February, 2017 this municipality organised an event in remembrance of Musine Kokalari. At the start of the event the municipality revealed the sign of one of the new main streets of the city named “Musine Kokalari” in the presence of citizens, researchers, political figures and family members of Musine Kokalari. In his word, Mayor Dedaj esteemed the contribution of the dissident Musine Kokalari. The event continued with performances of Musine Kokalari’s writings from students of high schools in Rrëshen. Members from Musine Kokalari’s family and Musine Kokalari Institute greeted and thanked the Municipality and citizens of Mirditë for this appreciation.
