On the 100th birthday anniversary of Musine Kokalari, in the honour of her fight for democratisation and emancipation of the Albanian society, the Municipality of Tirana baptised Library No 9 in Tirana with the name “Musine Kokalari”. Present at this event were Mayor of Tirana Mr Erion Veliaj, Minister of Culture Ms Mirela Kumbaro and two members from the authority overlooking the opening of the files. Mr Veliaj and Ms Kumbaro emphasised the importance of the work and role of Musine Kokalari in literature, politics and Albanian society in general.
